Human Resources Business Partner

Location: Irvine, CA

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Work Arrangement: Hybrid (On-site Monday, Wednesday, Thursday)

Salary Range: $100K-$120k DOE

Requirement: Must have Multi-state experience

About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced HR Business Partner to join their team and help shape an exceptional employee experience. In this role, you'll deliver high-quality HR services, foster a positive workplace culture, and ensure compliance with employment laws and internal policies. You'll act as a trusted advisor to employees and leaders, supporting talent management, engagement, and continuous improvement initiatives.

What You'll Do

  • Provide timely, accurate, and empathetic support across all HR functions.
  • Partner with leadership to drive engagement and promote a positive culture.
  • Support talent management through career development and performance enablement.
  • Advise on employee relations, conflict resolution, and workplace concerns.
  • Conduct investigations with fairness and legal compliance.
  • Facilitate ADA accommodation processes.
  • Analyze HR data to identify trends and build actionable dashboards.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws.
  • Conduct audits and recommend process improvements.
  • Deliver tools, training, and coaching to strengthen leadership capabilities.
  • Contribute to special projects and evolving business needs.

What We're Looking For

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Experience:
    • 10+ years in HR or People Operations, including 3+ years as an HRBP.
    • Strong knowledge of employment law and HR best practices.
    • Proficiency in HRIS platforms, Microsoft Office, and data visualization tools.
  • Skills & Competencies:
    • Employee advocacy and cultural stewardship.
    • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
    • Ability to use data for insights and decision-making.
    • Coaching and development expertise.
    • Adaptability and collaboration across teams.
